Having successfully ventured across the country on their debut National Album Tour, Adelaide’s MANHATTAN JINX are fast being recognized as one of Australia’s acts to watch out for. They have already made a name for themselves as an intense, brooding and balls to the floor raw live outfit, with a commanding stage presence and huge live sound. Their live performance adds an extra dimension to the tracks taken from their debut album “Death.Savor.Life” which has received critical acclaim since its release in January 2012.

Hitting the ground running Jinx launched straight into a national tour to support the album, only 2 months after securing a fulltime live line-up, proving that they are ready to work at what they love and not prepared to let anything get in their way. They have the work ethic to grind this country from coast to coast and beyond; the stage presence to rival national veterans and one to make you quake in your boots; and with a nationally distributed debut album receiving local and national radio play they are a band to look out for. They are on the move, and the only way is up.

But don’t just take their word for it:

TRIPLE J, DOM ALESSIO- ‘There's a healthy dose of reverence towards The Bronx in this song, but it also reminds me a bit of another Adelaide act Coerce. This tune does what it should: it rocks’

RAVE MAGAZINE, BRISBANE- ‘Gritty, blues influenced punk rock with a pounding momentum is delivered consistently and adroitly with numerous riffs staying in your head long after the record has finished’

DRUM MEDIA, SYDNEY- ‘This is a great record and a fine example of how real grunt can be achieved simply through good songwriting and a decent engineer’

BLUNT MAGAZINE, AUSTRALIA- ‘Marvel at the swagger of “Dirty Laughing Intimacies”, which manages to swing, split skulls and suggest The Bronx at their best’

SLUDGEFACTORY.COM- ‘An album that can stand shoulder to shoulder with any modern day punk/post hardcore record’

DB MAGAZINE, ADELAIDE- ‘Melodically akin to a train just pummeling along grinding tracks with a brooding but forceful melodic sound’
